#05 A New Way Of Looking At Rejection.
We all know it and have experienced it to varying degrees in our lives...Rejection. It is a word usually connected to pain and shame. We tend to take it as a reflection of our self-worth and end up feeling beaten down and discouraged.
In this episode, we discuss the flip side of rejection. How it can be something very positive and uplifting and how it is up to us to change the stories we tell ourselves about the big R-word.
We talked about:
The stories we tell ourselves about rejection
How we take rejection as an insult, rather than guidance
How we allow the fear of rejection to paralyze us and keep us from living our lives to the fullest
How we hold on to the things that clearly should not be in our lives
How rejection is a natural part of life and why it is something we should embrace rather than fear
You might not see it right now but often, in hindsight, we can say that we are grateful that certain things did not work out as we initially hoped. Being "okay" with rejection means you are allowing life to lead you. Being in alignment and creating a life by design requires us to be courageous and face our rejection. Instead of connecting a closed door to your self-worth, thank the Universe for the guidance and trust that this Divine intervention is leading you closer to where you want to be.
Lightbulb moment: Rejection is guidance. It is not a reflection of your worth.
